Approval of MBS & Boundaries on the Council Agenda for Ordinary Meeting on Tuesday, 20 June

Hello everyone,

We’re keeping this Newsletter short and to the point. The Melville Council will decide on the establishment of the Melville Bird Sanctuary (MBS) along proposed Stages 1 and 2 boundaries at its Ordinary Meeting of Council (OMC) this coming Tuesday 20 June 2023. It would be great if you could show your support by either attending in person or via Zoom. For those attending in person, the OMC commences at 6.30pm at Council Chambers (2nd Floor), Melville Civic Centre, 10 Almondbury Road, Booragoon. We are extremely grateful for the support shown by DBCA and Melville Council during the development of our MBS proposal.  The prospect of a Melville Bird Sanctuary to protect, restore and enhance vital areas of our environment for birdlife gives us great hope for our current and future generations.

We will notify you of the decision by Melville Council.
